Saquon Barkley played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He compiled 5,557 all-purpose yards in his three years at Penn State. He set numerous Penn State records including most career rushing touchdowns, most rushing yards by both a freshman and sophomore as well as most total yards in a single game. Barkley was a 2x Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and a Consensus All-American in 2017.

Following a successful college football career, Saquon Barkley was drafted by the New York Giants with the second pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Barkley proved to be an immediate impact player for the Giants, setting a franchise single-season record for rookies with 15 touchdowns while compiling over 2,000 yards of offense. He was elected to the 2019 Pro Bowl and earned numerous NFL rookie awards including the Pepsi Rookie of the Year, FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Year, AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie and AP All-Rookie teams.
