NBA FINALS REMATCH SET: CAVS-WARRIORS TIP OFF THURSDAY

Throughout the whole 2016-17 NBA season, we have all been waiting for a particular series to take place and starting on June 1st, we will finally see the rematch. With the Cavaliers annihilating the Celtics 135-102 in game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, they punched their ticket to the NBA finals. LeBron James will be playing in his seventh consecutive NBA Finals, which was only done by Bill Russell. Also, James passed the ghost he has been chasing, Michael Jordan, in playoff scoring as LeBron is now the leading scorer in the NBA postseason. James finished game 5 last week with 35 points, eight assists and eight rebounds for the night. His partner in crime, Kyrie Irving, finished with 24 points for the night, When James or Irving was not scoring, veteran guard Deron Williams managed to take some pressure off. Williams finished with 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field. After losing Isaiah Thomas with a hip injury, the Celtics found themselves in a position where they could use more on the offensive end. Avery Bradley finished with a team-high 23 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field. It is also interesting to point out that for the Cavs, they have seen great production from Kevin Love in the series. Love averaged 25 points, 13 rebounds and a block for the series. The matchup with Warriors power forward Draymond Green will be something to watch for. Game 1 of the Finals tips off Thursday at 9 ET on ABC
