KYRIE IRVING WANTS OUT: CAVS STAR PG REQUESTS TRADE; LEBRON ‘BLINDSIDED’

Kyrie Irving is done coming in second place. After losing the 2017 NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors and playing second fiddle to NBA superstar LeBron James for the last three seasons, the 25-year old Irving has requested a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. Irving, coming off a season where he averaged 25 PPG, 6 APG, and 3 RPG, has made it clear that he wants to be the focal point of a team’s offense. LeBron James, who has highly praised Irving for his exceptional play, was reportedly ‘blindsided and disappointed’ by the report stating that Irving no longer wanted to play with the King. The report stemmed from a meeting between Irving, his agent Jeff Wechsler, and Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert. Irving’s agent mentioned that the meeting talked about, “many different scenarios in reference to Kyrie and his future with the team.” The Land seems to be in a lot of trouble right now.
