The NFL season may be over but that doesn't mean there's a shortage of NFL news to follow. Stay up to date with the latest happenings across the NFL with Ultimate Autographs.
Antonio Brown's Tweets Scare Off NFL Team
Disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown tweeted over the weekend that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has an "owner mentality" while saying other players feel the same but cannot speak out. AB also threw shade at head coach Mike Tomlin for telling the team that Brown quit on them following his Week 17 absence. NBC Sports' Peter King reported that Brown's tweets have already scared off at least one team and possibly more.
No conflict just a matter of respect! Mutual respect! He has a owner mentality like he can call out anybody including coaches. Players know but they can’t say anything about it otherwise they meal ticket gone. It’s a dirty game within a game. #truth https://t.co/MsSyBVd3Ny

Houston Texans Expected to Use Franchise Tag on Jadeveon Clowney
NBC Sports' Peter King also believes the Texans will use the Franchise Tag on star defensive player Jadeveon Clowney but is "skeptical" of the team's chances at signing Clowney to a long-term deal. King added that Clowney is not the "worker bee" that some other Texans defensive players are but did say Clowney has proven to be a productive player in the league. If the Texans do not tag Clowney, he would vault to near the top of the lists for every pass-rush needy team in the league.
I’m skeptical of the Texans reaching a long-term deal with Jadeveon Clowney. More in 10 Things I Think: https://t.co/hVpdzJI317

New England Patriots Almost Traded for Odell Beckham Jr. Last Season
NBC's Chris Simms reported the Patriots were the team "most aggressively pursuing" Odell Beckham Jr. last season before the trade deadline. The Patriots wound up getting Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns but the team still is expected to look for an upgrade at WR. FOX's Jay Glazer made a bold prediction last week that OBJ would be on the move this offseason which has gained considerable traction among fans and analysts.

Former NFL Players Ball Out for Alliance of American Football
Former NFL players Zac Stacy, Trent Richardson, Charles Johnson and Rashad Ross all had impactful weekends for their respective AAF teams. Ross had 4 receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown, Zac Stacy rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown, Trent Richardson rushed for a touchdown with 41 yards rushing along with 6 receptions and 50 yards and Johnson continues to lead the league in receiving yards with 252 through 2 weeks. Don't be surprised to see some NFL teams take a second look at some of the AAF's rising stars and give them another chance in the NFL.

Jacksonville Jaguars Exercise Team Options for Team Leader Calais Campbell
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the Jacksonville Jaguars have exercised their options for Pro Bowl DL Calais Campbell. The team also exercised the options on Cody Davis and DL/special teams captain Lerentee McCray. Noted for not only his stellar play but off-the-field leadership, Campbell's presence will be huge for the Jaguars as they look to bounce back in 2019.
