Antonio Brown Requests Trade from Pittsburgh Steelers

Disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown seems to be ready to move on from the team. Brown posted some highlights from his Steelers playing days with the message "Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years...time to move on and forward..........✌🏽 #NewDemands." ESPN's Adam Schefter also tweeted out that Brown has requested a trade from the Steelers. The Steelers would have to eat a huge chunk of Brown's salary if they move him but at this point, it might be best for both parties to move on.

Arizona Cardinals president Michael Bidwill shoots down rumors of Cardinals drafting Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick

Michael Bidwill is doing his best to quell the rumors of the Cardinals picking the Heisman Trophy winner with the top pick in this year's NFL draft. If you'll recall, Kliff Kingsbury said he'd draft Kyler Murray with the top pick if he had the choice while coaching at Texas Tech. Kingsbury is now the head coach of the Cardinals who have the No.1 overall pick. But Bidwill was quick to shoot down thoughts of the Cardinals drafting Murray.

"There’s always a lot of speculation that turns out to not be true," Bidwill said. "But moving forward, we’re going to continue to build this team and build around the foundation that we have.”

Houston Texans Release Demaryius Thomas

Demaryius Thomas will be looking for a new team as he continues on the road to recovery from a torn Achilles. Thomas is expected to be released by the Texans per NFL Network's James Palmer.  The Texans traded a fourth-round pick last season to acquire Thomas for a playoff push but he only contributed 275 yards on 24 receptions and two touchdowns. Now 31-years-old and coming off his second Achilles injury, Thomas is expected to struggle to find a team willing to pay much for his services next season.

Projected Top-15 Pick Mississippi St. DT Jeffery Simmons Suffers Torn ACL

Jeffery Simmons, a projected top-15 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, reportedly suffered a torn ACL per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport during training. Simmons wasn't invited to the NFL Combine due to an off-the-field incident and will now see his draft grade drop even more after the devastating injury. Marcus Mosher provided a snapshot of just how productive Simmons was at Mississippi St. compared to NFL studs (and MSU alums) Fletcher Cox & Chris Jones.

ABC Will Showcase Two Hours of NFL Scouting Combine

The NFL Combine is quickly becoming an event nearly equal to the NFL Draft in terms of media coverage. The NFL announced today that ABC will feature two hours of coverage during the QB & WR workouts portion of the NFL Scouting Combine. ABC will also broadcast the NFL Draft in April as ESPN and the NFL move closer to repair their fractured relationship. The Scouting Combine takes place Feb. 26 - Mar. 4 this year.
