Around the League: NFL News and Notes 3.5.19

The NFL offseason is in full swing and there's no shortage of NFL news to follow. Stay up to date with the latest happenings across the NFL with Ultimate Autographs.

Tyreek Hill and Kansas City Chiefs on the Verge of Mega Deal

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs and Hill are discussing a "record-setting deal." New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. is currently the league's highest-paid WR at $18 million per year. Hill has proven to be an electric playmaker for the Chiefs and should continue to put up video game stats with Patrick Mahomes as his QB.

Trio of New England Patriots Stars Heading to Free Agency

Trey Flowers, Trent Brown and Stephen Gostkowski will be free agents as the Super Bowl champion Patriots will not utilize the franchise tag on any of them, per ESPN's Field Yates. Flowers instantly becomes one of the top free agents available and should find a nice payday as pass rushers have become a premium for NFL teams.

New York Giants Not Using Franchise Tag on Landon Collins

Landon Collins will be a free agent per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport and others. Collins has been one of the best safeties in the league playing in the box but has come under criticism for his pass coverage skills. Just 25 years old and a proven playmaker, Collins won't have any problems finding a new team.

Oakland Raiders Returning to the Coliseum for At Least One More Season

The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Michael Gehlken reported the Oakland Raiders have agreed to a deal that will allow the team to play at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in 2019. The Raiders were previously a team without a home stadium as their Las Vegas home isn't complete yet. The deal reportedly includes a team option for 2020 but it's expected the Raiders' new stadium in Sin City will be ready by then. There is some red tape to go through before it becomes 100-percent official, but that is considered a formality at this point.

Rumors: Jon Gruden Looking to Form Raiders Super Team

Pat Leonard reported there is talk of Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden looking to form a super team with former Pittsburgh Steelers star Le'Veon Bell, soon to be former Steelers WR Antonio Brown and even Odell Beckham Jr. There have also been rumors that Gruden could be looking to draft Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray despite his public comments backing Derek Carr. Gruden loves to make a splash in the headlines and it wouldn't be a shock to see the Raiders make a big free agent signing or a move in the NFL Draft.
