2022 Mock Draft: Part 3

2022 Mock Draft: Part 3

We are now in playoff season, which means the NFL Draft is just around the corner! Although we are typically known for our sports mystery boxes, specifically our NFL Mystery Boxes, we also like to dabble in things outside of autographed jerseys and signed mini helmets. So without further ado, here are the first 10 selections of our 2022 mock draft!

22. Las Vegas Raiders - Jameson Williams, Wide Receiver - Alabama

The Ohio State transfer came to Alabama as a bit of a wildcard, but he quickly established himself as the best receiver on the team. This Oakland team spent a ton of draft capital on receivers in 2019, but so far, it hasn't looked like any of those players will be significant contributors.

23. Arizona Cardinals - Trent McDuffie - Cornerback - Washington
The Cardinals probably made a mistake by not taking a cornerback last season in the 1st round. They correct that mistake here with nabbing McDuffie. The Huskies have done a great job at producing NFL caliber DB’s over recent years and this pick follows that trend.

24. Dallas Cowboys - Drake Jackson, Edge - USC
Parsons was a huge success in his rookie season for the Cowboys, but they need someone other than him making plays and getting to the quarterback. Drake has great build and athleticism to help him succeed at the next level.

25. Cincinnati Bengals - Nicholas Petit-Frere, Offensive Tackle/Guard - Ohio State

The talented athlete from Ohio State stays home as he heads to Cincinnati. The Bengals may move him from tackle to guard but they really need another body on this offensive line and he could be a good one.

26. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers) - Darian Kinnard, Tackle - Kentucky
The Dolphins offensive line has been mediocre at best and they could use someone big and physical to anchor them. Kinnard had a great season in the SEC and is expected to be a day 1 starter.

27. Buffalo Bills - Breece Hall, Running back - Iowa St.
As soon as David Montgomery went to the NFL, Breece stepped right in as a true freshman and never looked back. Buffalo has been desperately needing a 3 down back for years and this could finally be the guy they have been looking for.

28. Detroit Lions (via Los Angeles Rams) - Drake London, Wide Receiver - USC
With their 2nd pick in this 1st round, the Lions go to the offensive side of the football and take former basketball star Drake London. This team sorely needed another receiver outside of Amon Ra St. Brown to produce, and who better to give the Lions than St. brown’s former teammate.

29. Kansas City Chiefs - Jahan Dotson, Wide Receiver - Penn St.
Dotson is a smooth operator and plays bigger than his 5’11 height would suggest. Kansas City really needs another consistent wide receiver other than Tyreek Hill and Dotson could absolutely be that guy.

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Andrew Booth, Cornerback - Clemson
There are many that believe that Booth could end up being the top corner in this class. If that is the case, this is quite the steal for the Bucs. The Bucs have a great front 7 but the secondary is extremely exposed.

31. Tennessee Titans - Tre McBride, Tight End - Colorado State
McBride has everything you look for in an elite TE. He is an underrated blocker, but he makes his money in the passing game. He had over 1,100 yards this season and could come up huge for an offense that needs another playmaker.

32. Green Bay Packers - Devin Llyod, Linebacker - Utah
This is another player that has seemingly fallen too far. There is a great argument for him being the top true LB in the class and with his length and strength, the kid can do it all.
