This is an authentic Sports Illustrated Magazine from the July 14, 1969 issue, hand-signed by football legend and Hall of Fame running back OJ Simpson. Known as "The Juice," Simpson is featured here at the start of his storied professional career following his historic run at USC.
OJ Simpson was a transformative figure in football history. After winning the Heisman Trophy at the University of Southern California (USC) in 1968, he became a dominant force in the NFL for 11 seasons, primarily with the Buffalo Bills. A five-time First-team All-Pro and the 1973 NFL MVP, he was the first player in league history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a single season. Simpson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
